  • A. Education
    • High school diploma minimum; associate degree preferred
  • B. Experience
    • 3 years in a manufacturing related position desired; quality experience preferred

The principle responsibility of this position is to track, analyze and report on supplier’s parts and products to ensure they meet the organization’s quality standards. Perform quality control through the use of measuring, inspecting and testing. Reporting and recording the results for sharing with management are required.

  • Understand and utilize 2D design drawings to make judgments about the quality of product.
  • Utilize Microsoft Access, Excel, and Outlook to communicate and track data for traceability and reporting.
  • Utilize a variety of measuring instruments to sort suspect parts and material according to print and spec requirements.
  • Possess good written and verbal communication skills to interpret information relayed from manufacturing and reduce it to criteria that is controlled by prints and specs.
  • Understand and utilize document control procedures related to the activities of this position.
  • Support the quality management system by improving quality objectives.
  • Support any other work as determined by supervisor/management.
